Worship at the North Gate!

Calling all Worshipers and Intercessors to the North Gate! Breakthrough is Here!newgate_chester

Lift up your heads, you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.

Psalm 24:7

Calling all worshipers and intercessors to worship and release breakthrough at the North Gate! Breakthrough for the City and release and fulfillment of the Prophetic Destiny of Houston, Texas! Breakthrough in the Church, Justice, Commerce, Economy, Righteousness, Families, Revival and Awakening! Breakthrough for the Church and opening the Gates for the King of Glory to enter in and take His Rightful Seat of Honor in the City of Houston! Houston is a Gateway City and Strategic and Significant for this nation!

Significance of the Gates

The Gatekeepers were stationed on the East, West, North, and South gates.

24 The gatekeepers were on the four sides: east, west, north and south.            1 Chronicles 9:24

Historically, the gates were a place to assemble and to have meetings as well as a seat of high honor, where the elders would come together. The gates were a place where justice was administered, where judges in court rendered their decisions. At the gates of cities, courts of justice were frequently held, and hence “judges of the gate” were mentioned. Business was conducted there and legal transactions made, community affairs and religious services were held there too. The city gate was used as a public gathering place for the giving of an address or proclamation. Prophets and teachers delivered their messages there and kings and rulers or ambassadors addressed the people. It was a marketplace and it was very important to defend these places of economy and entrance into the city. Sometimes the gates symbolically are used to represent the city as a whole, as when the LORD said to Abraham, “Thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies” (Genesis 22: 17) Gates can also be used figuratively for the glory of a city (Isa 3:26) or represented the people of that city. In military terms, to “possess the gate” was to possess the city (Gen 22:17; 24:60).  Sometimes a city had two walls and therefore two gates with a space between them, which was used for many purposes. “And David sat between the two gates: and the watchman went up to the roof over the gate unto the wall, and lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold a man running alone” (II Samuel 18:24). Obviously the gates were very significant and their defense was high priority, the welfare of the people was guarded, and the wealth and commerce within the city required great protection!

 The North Gate

In a Prophetic word released by an elder in the City (permission has not yet been to obtained to release the author), Revival and Awakening has been prophesied to come to Houston through the North Gate! The North Gate of Houston, Texas is Spring, Texas. The significance of the North Gate according to Nehemiah’s rebuilding account, the Benjamin Gate, (Benjamin means son of right hand) represents authority and the Sheep Gate is apostolic (The Good Shepherd is Jesus, and in Peter’s apostolic restoration of leadership, Jesus commanded Peter, “If you love me, feed my sheep!”), rebuilt by the Levites and their priestly brothers.  In the prophetic account in Ezekiel 48, and its parallel confirmation in Revelation 21, the North Gate comprised of three gates, Reuben, Levi and Judah, with the East Gate at its Northeast border. Reuben was the natural firstborn, first in birth order, and represented the natural possession of inheritance.(Ezekiel 48:31 and Revelation 21:12-13). Levi represented the Worshiping Priesthood and the Sons of Levi were the only Israelite tribe that received cities but were not allowed to be landowners “because the Lord the God of Israel Himself is their inheritance! Judah meaning praise, Judah or praise went first, and was historically the tribe that camped at the east and led the troops into battle. Judah represents the spiritual inheritance of the King of Kings, the Lion of Judah! Some more interesting scriptures concerning the North Gate.

4 Then the man brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple. I looked and saw the glory of the Lord filling the temple of the Lord, and I fell facedown. Ezekiel 44:4

19 Then the man brought me through the entrance at the side of the gate to the sacred rooms facing north, which belonged to the priests, and showed me a place at the western end. Ezekiel 46:19

2 He then brought me out through the north gate and led me around the outside to the outer gate facing east, and the water was trickling from the south side. Ezekiel 47:2

Join us in corporate release and and prophetic declaration as we worship at the North Gate! Calling forth the Remnant and the Warrior Bride for such a time as this! Your time is Now! Step into Your Destiny, your greatest days are ahead of you! Arise My Church Arise!

Victory at the North Gate victorious-bride1

         Lift up your heads, you gates;

    be lifted up, you ancient doors,

    that the King of glory may come in. Psalm 24:7

The Lord loves the gates of Zion

    more than all the other dwellings of Jacob. Psalm 87:2

Open the gates that the righteous nation may enter,

    the nation that keeps faith.  Isaiah 26:2

Evildoers will bow down in the presence of the good,

    and the wicked at the gates of the righteous. Proverbs 14:19

The Word has much to say about gates and their significance. The Lord prompted me in 2008, to look at the Gates of Jerusalem.  At that time, before we knew Hurricane Ike was coming to our area, the Lord impressed upon my heart that the gates of Jerusalem were paralleled with the gates of Houston, Tx. He showed me that Hurricane Ike would come into Houston through the Water Gate, which is exactly what it did. I also knew that I was positioned in the North Gate of Houston, and I had the visual of Houston as a wheel, with spokes and a hub in the center, of which all the gates were connected to each other.  I later in October 2015, saw the wheel come into its true form, it looked like a wagon wheel, very old and rustic as with the pioneers. And then I saw Houston as a wheel within a wheel, and I knew that it meant forward progress or to move forward, but also to move in all directions. And then I looked at the map of Houston, and I saw the wheel within a wheel, I saw the inner ring, the outer ring, the Beltway, and later the Grand Parkway. I also understood that there were actual gates in the spirit, with watchmen posted at those gates, and there were gateway churches, that were actively responsible to pray and cover their gates and surrounding area and who had been given charge and authority concerning their respective gate and surrounding area.

In my initial study in 2008, I went to the Gates of Nehemiah, and I saw two gates at the Northern border. The first one was the Sheep Gate, rebuilt by the Levites and their fellow priests, and the other was the Benjamin Gate.  Benjamin, meaning son of my right hand, also represented authority. The Sheep Gate is apostolic and represents the Lord Himself who said that He is the Gate, and He is the Shepherd. Ezekiel rebuked the false shepherds for abusing the sheep and taking care of themselves instead.  When Jesus restored Peter to his apostolic leadership, He said, “If you love me, then feed my sheep,” thus bestowing upon Peter the mantle and responsibility of The Good Shepherd. (John 21:17)  Jesus also called him Peter and that upon this Rock, He would build His Church, and the Gates of Hell would not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:18) Also, in that same year, I discovered that there was a prophetic word in the City of Houston, Texas, pronounced by Pastor Reginald Dees to Pastor Bruce Parks, that revival would come into the city of Houston through the North Gate, which is Spring, Texas. This newfound revelation seemed to sit on the shelf for the next eight years with little or no attention, until in October 2015, the Lord alerted me again to the North Gate.  The enemy was raising its ugly head in Old Town Spring, and we were to pray and to worship and to release Prophetic declarations concerning the North Gate area, to stand for righteousness and to raise a Righteous Standard. Later in April of 2016 that so called church closed its doors, but there was more work to do to complete the mission to eradicate the enemy from the North Gate.

So beginning from the 1st of September, I had been alerted again and was experiencing significant warfare, and received a prophetic word that in order to go to the City Gates, you must first visit the Old Gate, which was the preceding article to this one, where I released the revelation and praise report of Breakthrough at the Old Gate. Interesting that the Old Gate is also called the Governor, where Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem in 445 B.C. as the provincial governor of Judah, and began the rebuilding project there.

10But Judah said, ‘The strength of the burden-bearers is failing, and there is too much rubbish, so that we are unable to work on the wall.’  11And our enemies said, ‘They will not know or see anything before we come upon them and kill them and stop the work.’12When the Jews who lived near them came, they said to us ten times, ‘From all the places where they live they will come up against us.’  13So in the lowest parts of the space behind the wall, in open places, I stationed the people according to their families, with their swords, their spears, and their bows.  14After I looked these things over, I stood up and said to the nobles and the officials and the rest of the people, ‘Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your kin, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.’                                                                                                                             Nehemiah 4:10-14

Verse 10 says the strength of the burden-bearers is failing, and I believe this is where many intercessors have found themselves overwhelmed with the work ahead of them and the warfare they have experienced. Multiplied grace and strength and strategy to these intercessors who faithfully serve at these gates!

Let us look at the significance of the Gate in scripture and in historical context. The gates were a place to assemble and to have meetings as well as a seat of high honor, where the elders would come together. The gates were a place where justice was administered, where judges in court rendered their decisions. At the gates of cities, courts of justice were frequently held, and hence “judges of the gate” were mentioned (Deut. 16:18; 17:8; 21:19; 25:6, 7, etc.)  Business was conducted there and legal transactions made, community affairs and religious services were held there too. The city gate was used as a public gathering place for the giving of an address or proclamation. Prophets and teachers delivered their messages there and kings and rulers or ambassadors were received there. It was a marketplace and it was very important to defend these places of economy and entrance into the city. Sometimes the gates symbolically are used to represent the city as a whole, as when the LORD said to Abraham, “Thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies” (Genesis 22: 17) Gates can also be used figuratively for the glory of a city (Isa 3:26). Gates also represented the people of that city and in military terms, to “possess the gate” was to possess the city (Gen 22:17; 24:60). Obviously the gates were very significant and their defense was high priority and the welfare of the people and the wealth and commerce within the city required great protection!

4 Then the man brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple. I looked and saw the glory of the Lord filling the temple of the Lord, and I fell facedown. Ezekiel 44;4

The north gate was assigned to his son Zechariah, a man of unusual wisdom. 1 Chronicles 26:14

And then I considered the North Gate in Ezekiel’s vision in Chapter 48 which is confirmed again in Revelation 21. Ezekiel 47 speaks of the River that runs from the Temple and the boundaries of the land. In Ezekiel we see the Gates of the New City, with twelve gates. The North Gate is comprised of three gates, the gate of Reuben, the gate of Judah, and the gate of Levi.

31 the gates of the city will be named after the tribes of Israel. The three gates on the north side will be the gate of Reuben, the gate of Judah and the gate of Levi.  Ezekiel 48:31

12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west.  Revelations 21:12-13

I began to look at these three gates to the North. The first one is Reuben, the natural firstborn and rightful heir of the promises and inheritance. Jacob prophesied, “Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, the first sign of my strength, excelling in honor, excelling in power. He stepped up in his authority to save Joseph from death at the hands of his brothers, but later forfeited his right to full inheritance due to sin. It is interesting to note that he was the oldest son and in the first position in relation to his brothers, and Jacob prophesied him to be mighty, and he excelled in honor and power.  The second Gate is the Gate of Judah.  Judah, meaning praise (Leah said, “This time I will praise the Lord.” Gen. 29:35), is the fourth son of Jacob (Israel) and saves Joseph by convincing the brothers to sell him into slavery instead of killing him. Judah also takes responsibility for Benjamin in Joseph’s palace.

 Jacob prophesied, “Judah, your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father’s sons will bow down to you. You are a lion’s cub, O Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, like a lioness—who dares to rouse him? The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs and the obedience of the nations is his.   Genesis 49:8-10

During the time of Moses, the tribe of Judah became the stronger tribe and “prevailed over his brothers,” the leading tribe in population and in men who could go to war (Numbers 1:2-3, 27).  After the death of Joshua, God chose the tribe of Judah to take the lead in conquering the nations who were living in the land promised to the 12 tribes (Judges 1:2) and they were aggressive and strong in driving out the Canaanites in the southern half of the land of Canaan. We see the strength of character and determination of Judah and the spiritual inheritance of Jesus, the Spiritual Firstborn, through the loins of King David and our Eternal King of Kings! In verse 10, “…The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs…”defers to the rightful owner who is Jesus Christ, the one to whom it belongs! This also reveals a special blessing for the tribe of Judah in the latter days.

21 After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:

“Give thanks to the Lord,

    for his love endures forever.”

22 As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.  2 Chronicles 20:21-22

24 Your procession, God, has come into view,

    the procession of my God and King into the sanctuary.

25 In front are the singers, after them the musicians;

    with them are the young women playing the timbrels.

26 Praise God in the great congregation;

    praise the Lord in the assembly of Israel.  Psalm 68:24

Praise goes before the armies of the Lord and before the King as He enters into His Sanctuary! The third gate is Levi. Levi was the third son of Jacob, of which both Moses and Aaron were both descendants of the Tribe of Judah and through whom the Priesthood was established. When Joshua led the Israelites into the land of Canaan (Joshua 13:33), the Sons of Levi were the only Israelite tribe that received cities but were not allowed to be landowners “because the Lord the God of Israel Himself is their inheritance” (Deuteronomy 18:2), and they served religious duties in the Temples and the Gates as well as political responsibilities. The Levites were also responsible for rebuilding the Sheep Gate.

So what does all this mean? I believe the Lord is revealing His supernatural strategies to his Gatekeepers in these Gateway Cities, of which I believe Houston, Texas to be one of them. He has been positioning His Generals and elders at the Gate and He is releasing the rallying cry to His People! This is not a time to be silent, but it is a time to find your place, your rank, and your position. As I consider the significance of the Prophetic Destiny of Houston, Tx, I am mindful that God has positioned us at the Old Gate for 14 years at the Old Family Gate of the Wunderlich Family and the Old Gate is a governing gate for Justice and Righteousness for the City of Houston. We have been soaking that gate for 10 years with worship. We are also positioned at the North Gate of Houston, Tx in Spring, Tx . We see the relevance of the Benjamin Gate with the authority of Apostle Ed Hendrix and the Sheep Gate, which was rebuilt by the Priesthood through apostolic order. We also see the significance of the North Gates and the three Gates which comprise the North Gate. Reuben is the firstborn in the natural is strong, full of honor and might. Judah is the Kingship of Jesus Christ, and praise goes before the armies of the Lord as well as ushers the King into His Sanctuary and into His City! Levi is the Worshiping Priesthood, which also carried the Ark of Glory before the armies of the Lord, and faithfully ministers unto the Lord, as in Ezekiel’s admonition of the Sons of Zadok! The King is Coming and He is coming in Glory! He is coming to His Gateway Cities and He is filling His Latter House with Glory! The Last Great Awakening is here, the King is coming with His Fire to burn up the works of darkness, His Rain to refresh the Land, and His Wind to blow away the chaff!  The Greatest Days of the Church will be seen, His Glorious Bride fully manifested in our cities, our region, and in our nation! America, the Lord has remembered you and the prophetic words pronounced by our Founding Fathers, and you will fulfill Your Destiny in the Earth in the Great Harvest of Souls! Arise My Church Arise!

Lift up your heads, you gates;  be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Psalm 24:7

Victory at the Old Gate!

Victory at the Old Gate! Victory at the North Gate! Breakthrough is here!

September 1st Thursday, I awoke to a scratchy throat, and wondered what this was. My husband Paul and my son had already had a cough for about a week, and I was trying to avoid being around them. I had prayed so many times and went to fight this oncoming struggle, I had to sing the next morning in a worship service, so I was being proactive and preventative, and prayerful. Then I received an email from my good friend Mary Bostrom, but did not have time to open it or read it. It was about month of Elul, and the Old Gate. A couple of things stood out to me, when I finally read it on Monday, was that you couldn’t go to the City Gates, until you visited the Old Gate. As I started getting worse on Saturday and was sick all night Saturday, my husband and I and our son went to the clinic on Sunday, not able to go to church. In reading Mary’s article, it talked about the beginning of the month of Elul being sundown on Saturday night, and this was the time the Jewish women did a special housecleaning and repentance in advance of the New Year (October 1st) and the Fall Feasts that were approaching. As an earlier side note, two years prior I had really been assaulted in my health and it was around my father’s birthday and his celebration party. It was extremely scary, and I had no understanding what was happening to me or coming at me. We prayed extensively and as a family and with much prayer cover, we made it through, but I knew the enemy had tried to take me out. But the Grace of the Lord upheld me and I made it through.

This coming Saturday September 10th, was my parents’ 50th anniversary, Jubilee, and something was brewing again! During the day, as I pondered about the Old Gate, I felt impressed that this had something to do with my mother’s parents, her mother and father. My father had grown up in a Christian home and in a Godly environment, but my mother did not. So I felt I was being led to the Old Gate, with no understanding yet of what I was to discover. Monday night, I felt the opposition coming again, and we prayed, and made it through the night with no incident. Or so I thought. My son had a horrific nightmare, where he saw two enemies that were coming against us. He identified them to me, and I knew God had shown us the missing pieces of the puzzle. All three of us were feeling better, and Thursday morning and Friday morning, I had the revelation and the understanding.

What the Lord showed me, was the enemy kept taking shots at me every time I would go to the City Gate, things I had no knowledge of, and had prayed before but not with this level of understanding. So I felt the Lord lead me to my family house with my mother and my sister and pray and reveal to them what the Lord had showed me. At the end, my sister saw the three of us holding our arms out like in the children’s game, Red Rover, Red Rover, and the three of us were standing strong at the Old Gate, and the enemy was worn out and frustrated, defeated there. So my mother and sister are stationed at the Old Gate (our family gate) praying and interceding. Here is the Revelation according to the Word of God found in Nehemiah.

8 They all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem and stir up trouble against it. 9 But we prayed to our God and posted a guard day and night to meet this threat.
10 Meanwhile, the people in Judah said, “The strength of the laborers is giving out, and there is so much rubble that we cannot rebuild the wall.”
11 Also our enemies said, “Before they know it or see us, we will be right there among them and will kill them and put an end to the work.”
12 Then the Jews who lived near them came and told us ten times over, “Wherever you turn, they will attack us.”
13 Therefore I stationed some of the people behind the lowest points of the wall at the exposed places, posting them by families, with their swords, spears and bows. 14 After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”
15 When our enemies heard that we were aware of their plot and that God had frustrated it, we all returned to the wall, each to our own work.
16 From that day on, half of my men did the work, while the other half were equipped with spears, shields, bows and armor. The officers posted themselves behind all the people of Judah 17 who were building the wall. Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other, 18 and each of the builders wore his sword at his side as he worked. But the man who sounded the trumpet stayed with me.
19 Then I said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “The work is extensive and spread out, and we are widely separated from each other along the wall. 20 Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, join us there. Our God will fight for us!”
21 So we continued the work with half the men holding spears, from the first light of dawn till the stars came out. 22 At that time I also said to the people, “Have every man and his helper stay inside Jerusalem at night, so they can serve us as guards by night and as workers by day.”23 Neither I nor my brothers nor my men nor the guards with me took off our clothes; each had his weapon, even when he went for water. Nehemiah 4:8-23
14 Moreover, from the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, until his thirty-second year—twelve years—neither I nor my brothers ate the food allotted to the governor. Nehemiah 5:14

According to the story in Nehemiah, he charged them by families to rebuild the gates of Jerusalem, but the enemy starting trying to kill them and frustrate the work of rebuilding the walls and gates of Jerusalem. So he had to station warriors with spears to stand guard (intercession) while the others were building the walls and gates (Gates of praise -worship), in order to complete the work the Lord had given them. The Lord had showed me in 2008, the gates of Houston corresponded to the Gates of Jerusalem, and to begin doing research then. Before we knew the hurricane was headed our way, he had showed me that Hurricane Ike was going to come into Houston through the Water Gate, and that is what happened. That was the beginning of learning about the gates and their significance in our city and region.

I believe we experienced victory at the Old Gate! Saturday was my parents 50th Jubilee Wedding Anniversary, and then we immediately had to leave to come do our Worship night that night. There was Victory at the North Gate that night as well! The same old struggle was completely eradicated, we went to a depth of worship and Glory that was unprecedented, and one of the worshippers heard the Angelic voices that joined us. I knew it was true, because she had described them as male angelic voices, with Glorious depths and parts, and those same Male Angelic Voices had manifested two other times before for others to hear during the worship. The last thing I wanted to add is that the Old Gate is also called the Governor’s gate, and I believe victory that is governed there will manifest at all the other gates as well! We are going into a City Level worship and Prayer gathering this evening, and today’s date is September 12th, government. I believe we need to share this victory and this strategy of the Lord to all of the other ministers at the other Gates around the City, and I believe the Prophetic Words spoken of the City of Houston are on the verge of Breakthrough and Breakout of Awakening, Revival Fire and the Great Harvest of Souls we have been praying for.

And one more thing. Judah goes first! The Praisers and the Worshippers are positioned in front of the Mighty Armies of the Lord! Glory Be To God! It is His Victory and we will see the Recompense of the Lord, and the Fruition of all the struggles and pressing to come forth! I believe this will also alleviate the extreme warfare we all have experienced going into the City gatherings and City Conference that is coming up! Glory, Praise, and Honor be to Our God who is Mighty and Victorious! Jesus Christ is the Lord of the Breakthrough and the Captain of the Hosts!

See you at the City Gates!

Unless the Lord Builds the House

build-on-the-rockUnless the Lord Builds the House

Unless the Lord builds the house,
the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the guards stand watch in vain. Psalm 127:1

As I look at the landscape of my life and all of its projects, I see the House that I have built. I honestly have to inspect the work of my hands, and ask myself, “Is this what God asked me to build or the building of my own design?” Sometimes the enemy of God’s best is our good. The question is not whether I am capable, or can I do something? The question is really ,”Should I do that, and did God ask me to do it?” Our own talent and abilities can get in the way of our focus on what truly we are called to do, and specifically what is required for this season. Each season has a specific focus, a required action, a responsibility for its accomplishment, and the fruit evident of its labor. In our human efforts, we tend to find patterns, learned skills, and rely on our old habits or ways of doing things, which do not necessarily apply to all seasons, or to the specific season we are in.

So my honest question to you is, “What are you building?” With the building blocks of life full of its moments both good and bad, what does the house look like, and what blueprint are you building from? Selah

Are you carefully building from the blueprint of God’s Word, referring to it often to check its validity and adherence to its design, or have you fallen back to your pattern of doing things, your old mindsets, your mastery of carpenter skills, and your historical track record of previous efforts resulting in old fruit?

I believe this is a time to go back to the blueprint, and see how the Author, the Master Carpenter, intended to build his House with Living Stones, built first with the Cornerstone Himself Jesus Christ, and upon the Foundations of His Word and His Living Apostles.

16 So this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone,
a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation;
the one who relies on it
will never be stricken with panic. Isaiah 28:16

Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:
“‘The stone the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;
the Lord has done this,
and it is marvelous in our eyes’? Matthew 21:42 (Psalm 118:22)

Jesus is
“‘the stone you builders rejected,
which has become the cornerstone.’ Acts 4:11

19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. Ephesians 2:19-22

2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

The New Jerusalem, the Bride of the Lamb
9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. 11 It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Revelation 21:2-3, 9-14

This is the House the Lord Jesus was building for His Father, the House of Prayer, the Latter House full of His Glory, established in his Glory and a Habitation of His Glory. Jesus established His House, His Church in proper divine order.

13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” 20 Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah. Matthew 16: 13-20

You see, Jesus knew who Peter was, but Jesus, who was in divine order with his Father, waited for the revelation of the Father as to who Peter was. Jesus then agreed and acknowledged Peter as the Rock He would build His Church upon. What rock? The Chief Cornerstone Jesus Himself and the foundations of His Apostolic governmental order set in Divine Order by the Architect Himself! So if Jesus builds according to the Architect’s blueprint and design, shouldn’t we? And what exactly is the House Jesus is building in the earth?

7 these I will bring to my holy mountain
and give them joy in my house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and sacrifices
will be accepted on my altar;
for my house will be called
a house of prayer for all nations.” Isaiah 56:7

11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: Amos 9:11 KJV

11 “In that day “I will restore David’s fallen shelter—
I will repair its broken walls and restore its ruins—
and will rebuild it as it used to be, Amos 9:11 NIV

9 ‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the LORD Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the LORD Almighty.” Haggai 2:9

Not only is Jesus building a house of prayer, but he is rebuilding it as it used to be, it is filled with a greater glory than that recordebuild-on-the-rockd in the former house, Solomon’s Temple, and it will house worshipers that worship the Father in spirit and in truth.

23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 23-24

Jesus is not coming back for anything less than what He established in the earth. He is not coming for a lesser glory or a house built upon other foundations than what He built while He was here. Man’s structures and man’s programs cannot support the weightiness of the Shekinah Glory that fill the Latter House of Glory. Bottom line, He is not coming for a visitation, but a habitation of Glory. He doesn’t just want to visit and then have to leave, He wants to come and reside, dwell, inhabit, abide, and live among His People. And He is looking for a remnant people with whom He can tabernacle and be Emmanuel, God with us! Are we those people? Consider the cost before you begin to build, that you may finish strong and well…

See you in the Latter House of Glory,

Seasons…

I am mindful of the seasons of our lives, especially coming out of a winter season into the Springtime! God our Father and creator created the seasons specifically for signs and for our accounting of time in our lives.

14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: Gen. 1:14

In his creative masterpiece, God created seasons to mark time, to display signs and his miraculous provision, and to help us understand our work, our family, our relationships, our intimacy with Him.

A Time for Everything

3 There is a time for everything,

    and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2     a time to be born and a time to die,

    a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3     a time to kill and a time to heal,

    a time to tear down and a time to build,

4     a time to weep and a time to laugh,

    a time to mourn and a time to dance,

5     a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,

    a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

6     a time to search and a time to give up,

    a time to keep and a time to throw away,

7     a time to tear and a time to mend,

    a time to be silent and a time to speak,

8     a time to love and a time to hate,

    a time for war and a time for peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

If you look closely, you can see all four seasons of your life in these scriptures.

Spring might be a time to be born, a time to plant, life is good, young, full of promise and exciting with the possibilities. But then you start to live life and enter the summer of your life, you are free to make choices, but those choices have consequence and rewards attached to them, time to tear down childish thoughts, time to build, searching, scattering stones and gathering them, a time to love, to time to keep, to be silent… The fall or harvest season comes and we understand the true cost of our decisions, we see the fruit of our decision, and sometimes regret the flippant way we chose to live our lives and raise our families…a time to embrace…a time to refrain from embracing…A time to mend, a time to speak…a time to dance…a time to give up…a time to throw away… And then the winter season…a time to die…a time to embrace… A time to mend… A time to kill… A time to speak and a time to make peace…from the previous warring season… I believe there is something to be gained in each season, only be mindful of the season, and what is to be gleaned from each season.

A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.   Song of Solomon 4:2

Have you ever felt like you were in a season where you were shut up, and where you felt the revelation and the wisdom of God was sealed up in you? Even when you tried to share it with others, they didn’t connect with you, they looked at you like you were off your rocker, and you felt isolation and felt misunderstood? God revealed something to you, but it was out of its season, not released in its proper time, the perfect timing of God. Remember when you are a prophetic person, God may show you things well in advance, or it would not be prophetic, a foretelling of what is to come! So prophetic people are usually crying when others are rejoicing, and rejoicing when others are crying… You are out of time, or ahead of the natural timing of events..,when it is fully manifested in front of everyone. Vindication is never that sweet, only God’s grace through it all, and your gracious humility at its revelation.  As you can probably tell, I have lived many years in this particular season…

Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. Isaiah 42:9

I love this, there are no surprises to God’s people! Our Father can’t help himself, He can’t wait to delight his children and to show his gracious provision and delicious delights that bring joy to his people and reassure them of His Unfailing Love!

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19

Our God is so busy doing new things, not recreating old things! Even when He resurrects an old thing, it comes back in a new fresh form! We do not serve a boring God, but an ever creative and exciting God! I am always looking for the fresh new move of my God, He is ever unfolding His creativity. And we have not seen anything yet. So don’t conform to the traditions of man, the stale way things have evolved. Be ever hungry for the Fresh New Revelation of how incomparable Our God Is! I Am!!! God is more than enough to fill all of eternity with our ever awe stuck wonder of the Revelation of His Glorious Facets and Unparalleled Power!!!

10 My beloved spoke and said to me,

    “Arise, my darling,

    my beautiful one, come with me.

11 See! The winter is past;

    the rains are over and gone.

12 Flowers appear on the earth;

    the season of singing has come,

the cooing of doves

is heard in our land.      Song of Solomon 2: 10-12

Whatever your winter season, the death of a loved one, the death of a dream or relationship! Know that Spring is around the corner! And so is Resurrection! From the gray landscape of emotional despair, God wants to bring a Spring in your step! From the dry twigs of once lush trees, God wants to bring fresh blossoms and beautiful fruit! Though you have endured the pruning of your branches, know that God is expecting to bring forth beautiful roses from your pain! Beauty from Ashes!!!

6 “Come, let us return to the Lord.

He has torn us to pieces

    but he will heal us;

he has injured us

    but he will bind up our wounds.

2 After two days he will revive us;

    on the third day he will restore us,

    that we may live in his presence.

3 Let us acknowledge the Lord;

    let us press on to acknowledge him.

As surely as the sun rises,

    he will appear;

he will come to us like the winter rains,

    like the spring rains that water the earth.” Hosea 6:1-3

What I have found in my walk with the Lord, is that He wants to move us from our busyness, our activities, and constant action, to a walk with him in the cool of the evening, from doing to being in His Presence… From singing about him, to singing to Him…

The Lord gave me a beautiful song, my signature song, called “A Lady and Her King.” What I did not realize at the penning of this beautiful love song, is that it would represent the seasons of my Love for Him. As I have traversed through each verse, I find myself singing the last verse to Him…Be swept away in His Love…return to your first Love, but in a deeper and higher response to His Holy Romance…

Bride Songs – A Lady and Her King, Written by Raelynn Parkin, Copyright (c) 2010 All Rights Reserved.

Verse 1:

How He moves me like waves upon the sea.

Rivers of peace and mercy.

His love engulfs me and I’m lost for a time

That’s when His heart joins mine.

I lose myself in His Love for me,

So tender and satisfying.

Just a lady and her King.

Verse 2:

Broken and bruised I come to Him.

With open arms He receives me.

Though I have nothing to give Him.

His blood, it covers me.

Through eyes of love, He calls me.

He wipes my tears and He shelters me.

Just a lady and her King.

Bridge:

Such Glory and Honor are His alone.

With Splendor and Majesty on His Throne.

How could He love me as His own?

He says, “Child, don’t you know the truth?

I loved you so much I died for you.”

Verse 3:

How You move me like waves upon the sea.

Rivers of peace and mercy.

Your love engulfs me and I’m lost for a time

That’s when Your heart joins mine.

I lose myself in Your Love for me,

So tender and satisfying.

Just a lady and her King.  Just a lady and her King.

See you in the Throne Room,

Raelynn, His Bride, His Esther…
