The River From the Temple

As I meditate on this scripture from Ezekiel, I am painfully aware that many are suffering in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, probably the most significant storm we have ever experienced in our lifetime. My heart and my prayer goes out to my friends, family, neighbors, and all who have been affected by this unprecedented storm.

But I have a Word of encouragement for the Body of Christ, even those who are suffering and trying to pick up the pieces of their lives. When others see devastation, I see the glory. When others see darkness, I see the Glory, When others see suffering and pain, I see the Glory waiting on the other side of it, a surpassing Glory that all that preceded its arrival will pale in comparison. Let me share a few thoughts to encourage you first.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are the called according to his purpose.                                                            Romans 8:28 KJV

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.                                                            Romans 8:18 KJV

I have a bit of a different perspective on the flooding and the aftermath of this hurricane. As I am currently republishing my third book, “The Heavenly Worship Room, ” the Spirit has captured my attention on a few things. In my first two books, Unlocking Worship and Lessons… I wrote about the Glory, the hindrances to the Glory, Crossing over the Jordan River, and into the Promised Glory for which we and many others have been contending and believing for in the Region of Houston, Texas. I have been standing on the promises of Amos 9:11 (…I will restore the Tabernacle of David…) and Haggai 6:9 (…the Glory of the Latter House shall be greater than of the former house… and in that place I will grant peace…) and Hosea 6:1-2.

“Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces, but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us, and on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.                       Hosea 6:1-2 NIV

As I began to see these promises being fulfilled, even in the last several weeks, after the miracle of Resurrection and Restoration of the Heavenly Worship Room, I realized that there was a passage of scripture I had included in my first writings in 2007, which I had always wondered how it all fit in to this amazing prophetic tapestry the Lord was piecing together before our eyes. And then I began to see it and understand it’s significance…

1 The man brought me back to the entrance to the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, south of the altar. 2 He then brought me out through the north gate and led me around the outside to the outer gate facing east, and the water was trickling from the south side. 3 As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits and then led me through water that was ankle-deep. He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep. 4 He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist. 5 He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in—a river that no one could cross. 6 He asked me, “Son of man, do you see this?” Then he led me back to the bank of the river. 7 When I arrived there, I saw a great number of trees on each side of the river. 8 He said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, where it enters the Dead Sea. When it empties into the sea, the salty water there becomes fresh. 9 Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live. 10 Fishermen will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds—like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea. 11 But the swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt. 12 Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.”                                      Ezekiel 47:1‭-‬12 NIV http://bible.com/111/ezk.47.1-12.NIV

How was a River supposed to flow out of the Temple? And how was this River which rose past the ankles, past the knees, past the loins, and over our heads enough for us to swim, a river we could not cross, supposed to bring freshness and life to all dead things it came across?

In our humanity and in our physical limitation of the flesh, of course we want to ease suffering, we want to erase trauma, we want life to go back as it was before this catastrophic event. And of course, we the Church are going to shelter those who have lost their homes and lives, and shoulder the burden of grief and despair, and help our neighbors restore and recover what has been lost. My great joy is to see the Church arise in her finest hour, to be the Light in the Darkness, to be the hands and feet of Jesus, comforting all those who are mourning and suffering loss. I love seeing the Unity of the Body of Christ arise with such resilience and strength, to see Great Hope in the face of despair, and to see the Joy of the Lord and Gratitude shine on so many during these difficult times…

What is Heaven’s perspective in all of this? We prayed for the rains and the swirling storms to go away, and for the rising floods to stop and dry up, and I believe it does not give the Lord pleasure to watch his children suffer…unless there is a purpose and a greater glory that will surpass the suffering on the other side. The Lord in His Soveriegnty allowed this natural storm to hit our coast and come across our path, not that he was doing this to the ones He loved. His Beloved Son suffered the Wrath of our Sin upon the cross, that we would not pay the penalty our sin afforded us, which was death, paid in full by the Blood of the Sacrificial Lamb!

I believe as the words of “Let it Rain,” continue, “Open the Floodgates of Heaven,” is our hearts’ cry. And though we see a natural flooding in our streets and in our homes, and the natural plant life soaking up the moisture after a dry and parching season, as in the natural realm, how much more in the spiritual realm? I believe the Floodgates have opened and a River that runs from the Temple as described in the unseen Temple in Ezekiel 47, that River of Heaven is going to run through the streets and homes of our region, the region of Houston, Texas, and the Unprecedented Glory is going to begin to manifest in our city streets, our schools, our homes, our families, our churches, interrupting life as usual! Our normal activities and church as usual is a thing of the past. Just as we cannot go back to the way things were before this storm, our new normal becomes the supernatural! Just as we were awakened to the severity and critical nature of the darkness swirling around us, we cannot go back to sleep! And the suffering lends way to the surpassing glory, the Hope of Glory, Jesus Christ revealed in us! And the River that runs ankle deep, past the knees, past the loins, over our heads enough to swim in, a River we cannot cross, shall bring life to those things that were dead. The dead shall come alive, the Lost shall be found, and all shall be recovered, not for our physical comfort and return to apathy, but to bring lost souls into the Kingdom! Our pain, their gain! And when all is said and done, we will cry, “Worthy is the Lamb to receive honor, power, glory, forever, Amen!” A River of Glory shall through this City! And the streets shall be glad, and the Redeemed shall Rejoice!

See you in The Throne Room and in The City,

The Tabernacle of David Fulfilled in Jesus Christ

“In that day “I will restore David’s fallen shelter— I will repair its broken walls and restore its ruins— and will rebuild it as it used to be, Amos 9:11 NIV

In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: Amos 9:11 KJV

I have always had a few unresolved questions concerning this passage that I feel need clarity and perspective. My first question was, “Will the Lord restore The Tabernacle apart from His Son Jesus Christ?”

The answer is a resounding No, supported by scripture! Jesus came to fulfill Scripture and to fulfill every Prophecy in the Old Testament. The Father’s answer of Yes was accomplished in His Son Jesus Christ! Jesus said He was about His Father’s business which was to seek worshipers who would worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. John 4:23 NIV

“It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’” Matthew 21:13

All aspects of the Tabernacle pointed to Jesus as did all of the Feasts. Not only did the traditions point to Jesus, but they were fulfilled in Jesus. Jesus was the Tabernacle that dwelt among us. Also, Jesus was the natural born heir of David, who will rule from His Throne. But just as David’s heart was to build a House for the Lord, his natural son Solomon was the one to build that house, the Temple of Solomon. Jesus Christ is the natural and Spiritual Son who will restore and rebuild the Tabernacle of David “as it used to be,” or “in the days of old” (KJV). The Tabernacle of David is not only fulfilled but restored through the Son Jesus Christ!

Raelynn answers questions about the Tabernacle of David

Another burning question is this, “Doesn’t this scripture mean that it will be fulfilled through Israel only? In other words, it doesn’t pertain to the Church, but possibly when the Church is raptured, and this is a part of their reinstatement of Jewish traditions in the restoration of the Temple.”

Again, I believe scripturally, the answer is No! Even though it is subtitled, “Israel’s Restoration,” it is not exclusive to Israel only, excluding the Church. In the Old Testament, the Lord was married to Israel. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ is married to His Bride, the Church.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. John 15:5, 8 NIV

Jesus said the Church will bear His fruit, from His seed, and that it is to his Father’s Glory that we bear fruit, showing that we are his disciples, his Church.

For Jesus to only fulfill the Tabernacle of David through Israel, excluding the Church, would be adultery, because He is married to the Church, and the Church will bear His Fruit. Our Lord is Faithful and True and loves His Church, His Bride!

She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. Revelation 12:5

Only the Church can give birth to the Male Child, in the image of the Son. The Tabernacle is restored and fulfilled through Jesus Christ and the Church who will bear His Fruit!

Let me provide a missing key to unlock our understanding a little further.

And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. Matthew 17:1-5 KJV

Inherent in both versions of Amos 9:11 is obviously the Tabernacle of David, “…and build it as it used to be,” but also the Tabernacle of Moses, “…and I will rebuild it as in the days of old.” Both tabernacles point to their fulfillment in the New Testament Tabernacle of Jesus Christ Himself. In the Strong’s Concordance of the Bible, the word tabernacle, is 5521 cukkah or sookkaw, a feminine version of 5520 soke, meaning a hut or lair, booth, cottage, covert, pavilion, tabernacle, tent. The word for tabernacles here in Matthew, found in the Strong’s Concordance, is 4633 skene which is literally a tent or cloth hut, a habitation or tabernacle. It also refers to 4632 skeuos, literally meaning a vessel, implement, equipment, or apparatus. But figuratively, it is specifically about a wife as contributing to the usefulness of the husband. How amazing is that! Again, we have a reference to the wife or the Bride of Christ! Could she actually be the embodied tabernacle that Jesus inhabits, one that contributes to his continued usefulnees here on earth, the actual hands and feet of Jesus? (From The Heavenly Worship Room)

Consider this also.

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. Revelation 19:7 KJV

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Revelation 21:2-3, 9-14

The Tabernacle is fulfilled through Jesus Christ and his wife, the Church. But I do not believe this is only a time in the far future. Consider this scripture as well.

My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-3

I believe this is present tense word, where He is right now, we have access right now to be where He is presently. If his body was broken for us and the veil of the Temple was rent in two, to provide access into the Holy of Holies, then we can go NOW, into that place, the Tabernacle of David, the Secret Place, the Throne Room, seated with Him in Heavenly Places!

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

My final question, “So how is the Tabernacle of David related to Israel’s Restoration?” I believe the answer is found in scripture.

The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts. Haggai 2:9 KJV

The one thing Israel has historically is the Glory, the Shekinah Glory that resided upon the Mercy Seat on the Ark of Glory! They witnessed historically the Glory upon Moses’ face, the Glory that stood in the entrance of Moses’ Tent of Meeting, the Glory that led them in the wilderness, and shielded them from the approaching Egyptians! Jesus birthed His Church in Glory, and He is coming back for nothing less than what He left, the Church radiating His Glory! It is a signpost for the Jewish nation! When they see the Glory manifest in the Church, the Tabernacle of David filled with the Glory, they will recognize the Glory from their history, and they will recognize Jesus Christ as their Messiah and as their King of Glory. And when they do, Israel’s Restoration will be fulfilled! Israel can be fully Restored through receiving Jesus Christ as their Savior, their Redeemer, their Messiah, and through that saving knowledge, Israel’s Redemption and Restoration shall be complete! Glory to the Lamb!!!

Jesus Calming the Sea Mark 4:37-39

Know Jesus, Know Peace! No Jesus, No Peace…

If you have not met the Prince of Peace, let me introduce you to Him. Even in the midst of the storms of chaos and confusion, there is one who is the Peace that passes all understanding! My sister Rene reminded me of the story of the One who was asleep in the boat, amidst the swirling winds, the raging waves, and the mounting fear of all who were present, except the One, the Prince of Peace who was seated, actually sleeping in the boat. What an amazing picture of finding Peace in the midst of the storm, it is a Person, actually Peace personified! They did not have to go find Him, He was already there with them though everything around suggested another picture! What childlike faith my sister Rene expressed to me, “I want to be asleep with him in the boat!”

So maybe, we just need our spiritual eyes to be opened to see where He is sleeping in perfect peace in the boat! And where He is, there we may be also, presently, not just in the “By and By!”

I am also reminded of my youngest son, Michael, who at the time was five years old. And he had heard this Bible story in Sunday Schol. Well, we were all out at the soccer field, and his older brother Zachary was out on the field playing. Then it started raining cats and dogs, and all of the families and parents ran to get under the cover of a pavilion, while our children were still out there playing in the rain, and they had not stopped the game. So Michael stood at the edge of the covered pavilion, and looked at his father behind him, garnering his support. Michael went and stood out in the rain and held his hands up and said, just like he heard Jesus say in the story, “Peace be still!” Well, al little bit frustrated, he looked back at his father, wondering why it didn’t work! So he tried this again, out in the soaking rain, with his hands up, and said louder, “Peace be still!”

Looking back at his father in amazement that nothing happened, his father Paul went and stood right next to him, with his arms raised in the rain, mind you in front of a couple hundred parents and families, safely tucked away under conver, and they both raised their hands to Heaven, and loudly proclaimed, Peace be Still!!!

And immediately, the rain was reduced to a little trickle, to the shock of everyone! I was never more proud of two people then that moment! And then I realized, Michael found where the sleeping one was in the boat, and with the same authority, spoke to the storms and the waves around him, and they obeyed the Lord!

Two lessons were learned and demonstrated that day, through the childlike faith of my five year old son. First, find the one who is Peace, and from where He is at rest, administer Peace to the storm, chaos and confusion! Instead of marveling at how chaotic and crazy things are, speak to it and demonstrate how Marvelous our Prince of Peace is to the world!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:                                                                                  Ephesians 1:3

Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,                                                                                                 Ephesians 1:20

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:                                                                                                                                                                 Ephesians 2:6

For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;                                                                                                               Ephesians 2:14

In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.                                                                                                                                                                              Ephesians 2:21-22

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,                                                                   Ephesians 3:10

For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.             Ephesians 2:14-22

So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.                                                                                                                            2 Corinthians 5:16-21

Let me bring this stream of thought to conclusion…

My sister Rene Semones always stirs my heart with God has been showing her, and I don’t think she would mind, she was sharing with me a vision she had recently, where she was in the Throne Room, sitting next to Jesus, next to the Father. And under her feet was blackness like a cloud… she asked what is that? And the Lord replied, that is Satan, and all his chaos and darkness! But guess what it is all under you your feet!

My father who was here with us, reminded us of scripture…

The Lord says to my lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”                                                                                                                                                    Psalm 110:1

It is all under our feet in that Heavenly place where we are seated with Christ! And guess what else? I know the One who walks upon the waters, amidst the raging storms. He extends His Hand out to us, to walk upon the water with Him! Keep your eyes focused on Him, and you will not sink!

I am an Ambassador of Christ, and a minister of reconciliation, a citizen of Heaven, seated with Him in Heavenly places!

Just a few thoughts in the middle of a storm…

The Glory of the Latter House

6  “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. 7 I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty. 8 ‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty.  9 ‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”   Haggai 2:9

This is such an amazing promise and one to which we eagerly look forward. As with many scriptures, there usually was a more immediate context as well as a prophetic forecast for another day yet to come. But to understand we have to visit the former house.

11 The priests then withdrew from the Holy Place. All the priests who were there had consecrated themselves, regardless of their divisions. 12 All the Levites who were musicians—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and relatives—stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps and lyres. They were accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets. 13 The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang:

“He is good;
  his love endures forever.”

Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud, 14 and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.    2 Chronicles 5:11-14

1 When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. 2 The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it. 3  When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the Lord above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying,

“He is good;
his love endures forever.” 2 Chronicles 7:1-3

Such an incredible level of Glory, one that came directly from Heaven manifesting as the Cloud that filled the Temple and the Fire that consumed the sacrifices. Do you remember the pillar of cloud and the fire that led the Israelites through their wilderness wanderings? This was the tangible manifestation of the Glory in the earth with a history and a precedent that Israel could remember and to which they could relate. This glory was so magnificent the priests could not perform their service for the cloud of Glory filling the temple, nor enter in. And in verse 3, when the people saw the fire coming from Heaven and the Glory filling the temple, the people bowed and worshipped the Lord and gave thanks. The glory filling the temple drew the people into reverent worship. I believe that is a key to worship evidenced by the Glory coming and the people worshipping. It was not a one man show it was a worshipping priesthood releasing a sound under Heaven that ushered the Glory into its dwelling place in the earth and among the people.

I want to revisit Haggai 2:6-7 and address the shakings of Heaven and earth, dry land and sea as well as the shakings of the nations. I believe we are seeing the shakings all around us like never before, almost like these are a signpost that points to the season and sets the context of verse 9, the Glory of the Latter House. These are not just the responses of a groaning world weary of sin, but God says He will shake all these things around us. The comfort for us is that we know and trust the Hand of the Lord. And it is not meant as a punishment for sin, but for the express purpose of filling the Latter House with His Glory! And we get to partake and enjoy His magnificence and His Presence as we taste of His Glory!

Many would argue that this passage only refers to Israel and not to the Church, but I beg to differ. Remember the precedent of the Glory evidenced by the pillar of cloud and the pillar of fire? Jesus was the Jewish Messiah and his Church was built with Jewish apostles and disciples.  His Church was of Jewish origin, and Jesus instructed his disciples to wait for the power from on High.  The Day of Pentecost, which was when the power from on High came that Jesus promised, saw the wind of the Holy Spirit and the tongues of fire! The Glory came into the first church and the Jewish people saw and recognized the Glory according to their history, and 3,000 were added in that first day of the Church, with Glory and Power!

I believe Jesus is not coming for less than what he left in the earth. He started His church in power and Glory and he is not coming for anything less than a full harvest and the full fruition of His Glorious Church. And as the Father is a master gardener, he is not coming to inspect a few little shoots or dried up vines, but a luscious garden with bountiful fruit, beautiful branches loaded with fruit, connected to the vine of His Precious Son that was the seed in the earth that abided alone.

24  Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. John 12:2

The Lord is not just coming for a harvest, but he is coming for a house full of Glory!

A song of ascents. Of Solomon.

1 Unless the Lord builds the house,
  the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the guards stand watch in vain.   Psalm 127:1

Not only is he the master gardener, but Jesus is the master Carpenter!  And he came to build for His Father a House of Prayer!

17 And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called   a house of prayer for all nations’? …’” Mark 11:17a

See you in the Latter House of Glory!

A Tribute to Prophet Kim Clement

Written by Raelynn Parkin, September 2001

Man of Honor, Man of Strength

Living in the arms of His Savior

Taken by hand, carving the path

Laying his life down for the nations

Heart of a servant, love for all

Crying the tears of His Savior

Dead to this life, but alive in Christ

Living out the Gospel before Heaven

We stand in Honor of this General

Who has risen to the Call of His Father

Counting the cost, trading his life

To capture the pearl of Great Price.

My friends, I feel a profound loss today, in the loss of Prophet Kim Clement. Though he did not know me, I knew him. In June 1999, when I was fresh coming out of my traditional background, a new friend of mine brought me to Quail Valley Church to a Kim Clement worship service. I didn’t even know who he was, but my heart was stirred, and I was undone. He got off the piano, and he came to the front and very strongly asked if there was anyone who wanted what he carried to come up front. I didn’t even know what he was really saying, but I ran up to the front, my husband was a bit shocked. And he laid hands on me and imparted to me a great gift. I have not yet fully unwrapped that gift, but I am grateful to have received it. It was like a father bestowing his blessing upon the sons and daughters. Please forgive, I don’t normally go on like this, but I wanted to pause with a thankful heart for the beautiful prophetic deposit he gave me, and to honor this spiritual father who has gone on to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I know he has lived a difficult life and carved a lonely path at times, but I thank the Lord for this pioneer of Prophecy who selflessly laid down his life for the nations. God Bless you Kim Clement, much Peace and Love to your family and friends in their time of loss, and thank you…
